Best Japanese Takeaway in Oakdale

Stacy Yang

Went to Japan in April 2025 and had great culinary experiences there. Bento Moto brought my husband and me back to that time and place instantly! Stopped by this place since we were at the vet waiting for a while, and Google had this spot "near me" in my search. Boy, glad that it popped up during our lunch hour! Food ... quality was hot and fresh, portions are more than enough for pricing, the small layout, ambiance and designs are just like Japan; the greeting by a young lady was nice and super knowledgeable when I was overhearing her help a customer before us; and the goodbye by the owner right before we left (as he paused talking to a friend) was polite and kind, just like Japan! We dined in and during this time on a lunch hour weekday, it was not busy inside and it just opened when we arrived. Everything was clean and plenty of seats, with a spot to grab your condiments, utensils and napkins. Go here to get your Japanese food fix NOW! Happy eating! Read More

This place is amazing the staff is all super nice and helpful. The food is amazing and is always served perfect and fresh every time. My go to is the katsu curry or the crunchy sushi roll but there is much more options. I highly recommend trying it out!
